It is perfect for use as a daypack or a carry all as well. It can be used as a gym carry all as well, though it may be a little bulky for that purpose.
– The Fjallraven Kanken can be worn over the shoulders for comfort and to prevent the weight on your chest. I like this feature as I am not very tall. I am 6’2″ and the Kanken held me up just fine. This may be a small disadvantage, however the small size and lightweight make up for it. The Kanken mini size is also very roomy and spacious, allowing you plenty of room to pack what you need to.
– Leather. I have worn leather jackets in the past and they are large and bulky. Not so with the Fjallraven Kanken. It has a soft but strong leather exterior and I can barely feel it when I am wearing it. It is also highly breathable which will help keep you cool during a workout.
– Easy to Use. It is quick and easy to put on and take off. You simply unzip the front zipper and attach the shoulder strap. It is also fairly light, so it is easy to carry.
– Price. It is priced right at under $150. I was surprised at how inexpensive it is and I am sure many others will be as well. However, the discount is only available if you choose the online option. This may be due to having to ship overseas.
– Good Customer Service. I received a screen-stretching slip cover in the package. I have used it quite successfully and will continue to do so. The Fjallraven Kanken also comes with a padded carrying handle which makes it much easier to carry. I think this product provides a reasonably priced and attractive alternative to other similar products. The small size and reasonable price make it a good value. I am confident that it will last and retain its usefulness.
In terms of durability, it passed my test with flying colours. It has seen regular use in gym classes as well as at home. My kid does quite a lot of activity with it from playing in the driveway to running around in the city. She uses it almost every day for different activities including working out at the local gym. I do wish I had purchased a bigger size since my daughter loves having her friends over to play in her new pink pack. But, she only plays with it for short periods of time. When she gets tired of it, she simply puts it away. She has enjoyed having lots of room to spread her wings and run around.
